Celebrities Making an Appearance at Art Miami
As Art Basel Miami Beach grows in popularity, more and more celebrities are known to flock to the event. Names like Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp have reportedly been spotted during previous years, and Madonna made headlines when she announced she would be making an appearance at this year’s event. If recent developments remain true, the entertainer may end up running into Brian Eno and Adrien Brody.
In case you’re unfamiliar with these two names, Adrien Brody is an actor perhaps best known for his Academy Award-winning role in the 2002 film The Pianist. Brian Eno is a highly respected musician and visual artist known for his pioneering, influential work and contributions in multiple musical genres. He has worked with singers and bands such as the late David Bowie and U2, respectively.
When he isn’t filming movies, Brody also works as an artist and he will be showcasing his paintings at Art Miami, the precursor of sorts to Art Basel. He previously made an appearance at New York’s Art Southampton, a sister fair. As for Eno, he will be displaying his work involving several light boxes and the use of color.
Art Miami kicks off November 29th through December 4th. Ticket prices range from $30 to $250.
