Get to Know Artist Jordi Molla
Jordi Molla is among the most talented individuals contributing their work towards the medium of art and its various permutations. The Spanish artist is among the country’s most prolific and sought after thespians in the modern art movement, working as a painter, actor, writer, director, and more.
Jordi Molla was born in July 1, 1968, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He received his acting training at the Barcelona Institute of Theatre before moving abroad where he continued to refine his acting skills in England, Italy, and Hungary. One of his forays into acting was in the 1992 Spanish dramedy Jamón Jamón where he star alongside Academy Award winning actors Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. He would go on to appear in more than forty films including blockbusters like Bad Boys II. His mainstream film debut was starring alongside Johnny Depp and his former costar Penelope Cruz in the 2001 American biographical film Blow.
When he isn’t busy starring in Hollywood films, Molla also directs short and feature and has written a pair of books plus scripts intended for the stage and screen. He is also an accomplished self-taught painter whose work has been exhibited at Madrid’s Carmen De la Guerra and PicassoMio Galleries. His work is also being featured at our Scenario Art Gallery.
