Wynwood Named One of the Coolest Streets
If you ever needed any more reassurance of just how popular and trendy Miami’s Wynwood area is, consider this: it was recently named among the top ten coolest streets in the country per a new report released by Cushman & Wakefield, coming in at sixth place. The report cites Wynwood’s popularity among millennials, retail growth, its rich industrial history and, of course, its incredible street art as factors that have contributed to the area’s success.
Speaking of millennials, almost thirty percent of Wynwood’s residents fall under this demographic and the area’s median income is just $44,350. Compare this number to Miami Beach’s South of Fifth, or SoFi neighborhood which is about $78,000 and you get a good idea of just how different Wynwood is and how it remains outside of the mainstream.
Wynwood is also one of the best places to work in Miami, well-known for its creative work environs that appeal to office users seeking increasingly creative and refreshing places to work, especially those who are artistically talented.
From the Wynwood Walls to the food trucks, monthly art walk, and the galleries, what would you say are some of your favorite Wynwood qualities?
