Young Artists Shine This Labor Day Weekend
Miami’s art scene continues to thrive, and that’s really no surprise. From the Wynwood art galleries, South Beach’s Art Deco inspired design, and the multitude of artists and collectors that head down to Art Basel, Miami art remains in full force. In fact, a new exhibition happening this Labor Day weekend will only serve to reinforce Miami’s thriving art scene.
Called “Lit Getti”, the exhibition will focus on ten young, talented, local artists that bring something new to the Miami art scene and represent what the Magic City has to offer through their artistic talent. Each of the artists—including names like Ruben Slikk, Ticoe, and Lofty305—have a one of a kind style and perspective. As you might guess from some of the names they prefer to go by as artists, the work of these individuals utilizes certain types of culture to create something akin to modern impressionism. Their work extensively uses bold colors, intriguing imagery, and touches that stimulate the senses.
“Lit Getti” takes place this Saturday, September at Casa de Fado Art Gallery in Miami at 6 pm. Admission to the exhibition is free. The address is 7390 NE Fourth Ct., Suite #107.
